The Grey Highlands Wind Action Group has sponsored an ad campaign in their local newspapers in an effort to convince their neighbors and their local and provincial elected officials that wind turbines do not represent as great a panacea as the developer is promising. The ads strike me as consistently well-written and accurate. While some of them are particular to Grey Highlands others are more general. Even the ones that relate to local issues are instructive, as they provide a glimpse of how many developers operate, and how the local officials often collude with them.
